CVE-2024-58240
A flaw in the Linux kernel’s TLS decryption handling can let an attacker use a freed memory reference to crash the system or run code. The bug is in the way the kernel processes non‑asynchronous decryption requests and has been fixed in newer kernel releases.
An official fix is available, so this entry is kept for 30 days and then removed automatically.

Linux kernel 6.8 and earlier, including Debian Linux 11.0. Users running these kernels on servers, desktops, or embedded devices are affected.
